Cookies and Similar Technologies

Scope

This page describes how cookies and similar technologies are used in the Aizen Analytics product. It covers the tracker, authenticated dashboard, billing flows, and related product pages.

The Analytics Tracker

The Aizen tracking script does not use cookies or local storage for analytics collection. It is designed to avoid cross-site identifiers and persistent browser-based analytics storage.

Cookies Used in the Product

The authenticated Aizen product uses essential cookies for login sessions, security, and account access. These cookies are necessary for the dashboard to function.

Other Browser Storage

Some product flows may use short-lived browser storage instead of cookies. For example, the invitation flow may use sessionStorage to preserve return state while a user signs in or creates an account.

Third-Party Components

Some third-party pages or hosted components used by the product may set their own cookies under their own policies. This can include hosted billing, identity, or other integration-related flows.

Customer Sites and Consent

Aizen's tracker alone does not use cookies or local storage for analytics. Whether a customer needs a cookie banner or consent mechanism still depends on that customer's own implementation, legal obligations, and any other tools running on the same site or app. Aizen does not provide legal advice.

Your Choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential product cookies may prevent you from logging in or using the dashboard. You can also clear session storage in your browser if you want to remove temporary flow state stored by the product.

Changes and Contact

We may update this page as the product changes. If you have questions, contact [email protected].
